Taghioff was born in Iran in 1978 where he now lives and works. He tries to deal with complexities and hidden aspects in his homeland culture. He often draws influence from traditional aspects of Iran, for example describing passing through the traditional Bazar of Shiraz as an amazing and inspirational experience.
