A self taught photographer, Javadi has worked since 1989 as the Director of Photo and Pictorial Studies, Cultural Research Bureau. She is also a member of the editorial board of Aksnameh (a quarterly journal of photography) whilst often acting as a jury member in photographic competitions.
Since 1979 she has participated in both national and international exhibitions. The most recent being: Baudoin Lebon Gallery, Paris 2005, Vis -a -Vis, Hotel Fairmount, Dubai April 2004. "Regards sur les femmes d'Iran" European Parliament and Town Hall, Brussels, 2004.
