Born 1976, Shahre Kord, Iran.
Shokoufeh Alidousti studied photography at the Fine Arts departement of the University of Tehran. She came to the notice of the Silk Road Gallery and exhibited there for the first time in July 2002. In 2003 her work overstepped national boundaries and was shown in France as part of a touring collective exhibition at the Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, at Paris 1 Sorbonne and at Evry Town Hall. Shokoufeh Alidousti’s works are also on show in a touring exhibition in the United States from 2005.
In November 2007 she participated in Photoquai, the First Biennale of Images of the World alongside and by the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris.
