Bassir was born 1979 in Tehran. He studied photography at the University Azad in Tehran. He has exhibited many times including- in 2004 at Paris Photo, Le Carrousel du Louvre, Paris, 'Photography Biennale' Khial Gallery, Tehran, Assar Gallery, Tehran, Fnac Montparnasse – Paris, 2003 Art Festival – Massachussets US, 2000 Afarineh Gallery in Isfahan. He has also exhibited here at the Silk Road Gallery.
